Weight Loss
I LOVE Thursdays. Not because the weekend is almost here, but because the Office is on. It makes me so happy. It is actually one of the few shows that Chris and I watch together. I even keep them saved on my DVR so if I need a little pick me up I can watch them. You all probably already know this about me, I'm obsessed with it.

Just a reminder that the new season starts on Thursday. I can hardly wait. Chris calls me a Office Groupie. Okay I am. I read the blogs and try to find out stuff before it airs. Will Pam and Jim stay together? ( Chris tells me every time we watch it "see Joy they are going to break up.") Has Michael found his perfect match? Oh all the questions I can't wait to have answered.
When I try to share the my insights with others no one wants to listen because they don't want me to spoil it. Fine, I'll keep it to myself.  No spoilers. But the count down has begun!!!

{nutcracker}

Last weekend Ashley decided that she wanted to try-out for the Nutcracker again. She had done it last year and was a teeny tiny mouse. She loved being part of a professional ballet. She was able to watch all the ballerinas at practice. She actually got to be on stage with them and see all that goes into putting on a show. So this year when we got the audition letter, I was back and forth on doing it again. But Ashley really wanted to do it again so she didn't have to twist my arm too much to get me to let her do it. This year she is excited to be a cook. The last few years we have gone to see Chris' cousin, and last year Ashley, in the production. I guess this is going to be a Christmas tradition for awhile, because something tells me this tradition is not going to end anytime soon.

Chris learning how to play rock band. This is a very fun game if you haven't ever played it. I think we are just behind everyone and are just now learning about it. But, I must say it is pretty fun to get to act like a rock star. I personally LOVE the drums!

{think pink}

So we finally had Leah's 4th birthday party. I say finally because her birthday was back in July. But we had a really busy August. School started, soccer started, end of summer trips....so you get the picture.  She choose a color as a theme. Can you tell she is my girly girl. It was just that too. All girl. No boys were allowed. But really I don't think the boys would have enjoyed it. But the girls sure did. They all came dressed in pink. We made special cups that the girls got to take home, had lunch, did nails, had cake and opened so girly presents. We had a great time and I hope Leah thought it was worth the wait.

Granny Suez was able to come up and help with painting all the girls nails. This is something the girls always do when they go to Granny's house so she got to do it at the party.

For lunch we had Leah favorite meal .....PASTA! But it was special pasta. Bow ties with pink alfredo sauce. At first the girls weren't quit sure what it was, but after one bite they loved it.

We set up a little nail station for the girls. It was so cute that they all knew exactly what to do. Put theor hands still on the table and once they were done they all sat so still and watched a movie. I was a little nervous about getting nail polish on something. No need to worry. All Leah's friends are just as girly as her. And professionals at receiving manicures.

There was one boy allowed. Little Luke, Ellie's best bud. He sat and watched all the girls get their nails done. Once the last girl had finished, he put his little hand up to get them done too. It was so cute. Mimi couldn't say no to him. Chris Evans wasn't too happy when he saw them, but that is what happens when you are the only boy at a think pink party.
