{nutcracker 2008}

Ashley was in the Sac Ballet's Nutcracker. She was a cook. This was her second year doing it and she someday wants to play Clara. I told her you have to practice a lot to be able to play her, and she was okay with that. Here she is at the drop off. Her second cousin was into the production too. She was a flower. Since she was back stage she was able to get a few shots of Ashley in her costume. Sneaky Jac! I was so excited since I was never allowed in the back. This year we were actually able to see Ashley's face on stage. It was pretty exciting for me.

Granny Suez barely made it. She hit tons of traffic and walked in just as Ashley was on stage. She had to beg the ushers to let her go in the balcony. Luckily, Granny knows how to work it!
After we celebrated Grandma & Grandpa Eddington's wedding anniversary. Grandma Debbie had made them a beautiful scrapbook. They loved it.
It was so fun to have family come to see Ashley. What will Ashley be next year.....maybe a cherub!

{christmas party}

 The Ellis' had a great Christmas party this year. Complete with gift exchange. It started out pretty good and only got better. While Megan was opening the first gift, Mark and Shannon were laugh so hard. Well we all figured it out once the gift was opened.

It was a homemade poopie diaper. Made with love by Mark. It was a beans and corn mixture that looked real. Megan was mad that that was her gift. But you got 2 gifts. Luckily Steve was able to score some Kings tickets. VIP of course to any game they wanted. I think that made up for the diaper.

Chris got a game that he busted out playing right after the party. And I walked away with 4 tickets to the Dancing with the Stars Tour. Thanks Amy and Alan for a great night.

{dancing with the stars}

Amy, Brandi, Melissa and I had a great time at Dancing with the Stars the Tour. We had dinner first at Bistro, then went to the show. While we were eating dinner, Melissa kept getting text messages from Eric. Telling her no jumping on the stage, or kissing other guys, and how much he loved her. We all thought it was cute. But little did we know.

The stage was set up just like the show. We had good seats. But still some distance from the stage. Throughout the show Melissa was screaming and yelling at the dancers. My favorite is Derek Hough who just won last season.  At the end of the show the dancers came out into the audience. We were the loudest group there so when Derek got some what close to us, we yelled at him. He came running up to us. Brandi sort of grabbed him and we all gave him a big hug. We all about died. Eric was right to try to give Melissa some rules, but she didn't obey.

Thanks so much to Jeff the tickets for an awesome night and all of our hubbies that let us go. It was definitely a night to remember.
