{happy birthday}

My sweet BFF Mimi had a "slumber" party for my birthday. It really wasn't a slumber party, but more of a late over. It was like being 13 again. I loved it. We had such a blast. she made me this beautiful birthday hat. I am going to keep out all year long. It reminds me of what a lucky girl I am to have such great people in my life.

I've become a bit obsessed with cupcakes. I mean who hasn't. These are the Magnolia cupcakes from NYC. Leave it to Mimi to find the recipe. They were divine! And not bad to look at either.

I love all these little details. Mimi is so good at that. Tulle and CUTE cupcake holders.

Every party has to have a favor. Mimi made cinnamon rolls for everyone to take home to bake up in the morning. Complete with frosting too.

Recently I have been going to Zumba class. Here I am showing off some of my moves. Shannon and I are "shake, shake, shake, shake, shakin' it" I love that song!

Melissa said she could put her feet behind her head. We didn't believe her. She has had FIVE kids. Boy was I wrong! Way to go girl!

The finale of the night was a quick trip toilet papering. I have to say that everyone thought it was silly, but the minute we got there everyone's TPing skills came right back. It was like riding a bike. We were seriously hoping to get caught. How funny would it have been to have all these women running down the street. What a sight!
Thanks to everyone who made my party so great. Especially Mimi. It was so over the top. I LOVED it! Can we do it again next year?

{st. paddy's day}

We had fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Lucky stopped by a messed up the girls room. He pulled off their blankets and dumped out their toys and knocked over furniture. But he did leave some gold rocks and golden nuggets candy. Everyone wore green so there was no pinching. For dinner we had pesto pasta and grapes and green milk. After dinner we delivered some green mint brownies to our special friends. What lucky girls we have.
